Zander Miller’s journey into the automotive world started in a school dorm room, where he turned his focus from typical teenage pastimes like TikTok and TV to building a supercar club from scratch. What began as a spark of curiosity about cars and a keen interest in photography quickly transformed into a thriving community of car enthusiasts. Driven by his sheer passion for cars, Zander founded the South Coast Supercar Club (SCSC) at just 18. The club has since grown into a prestigious organization, now boasting over 350 high-net-worth members and hosting exclusive events across the South Coast.

His breakthrough came when Clayesmore School, aware of his club’s success, encouraged him to host an event on school grounds, giving birth to the Clayesmore Classic & Supercar Sunday. In just three years, the event went from a modest start of 160 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees to an extraordinary turnout of 700 cars and over 6,000 people. This leap in popularity established the event as a flagship celebration of automotive excellence, comparable to the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed.

To manage this rapid growth and ensure inclusivity, Zander founded Aperta Events. This innovative events company brings multiple car clubs together, creating inclusive experiences that allow a wider audience to appreciate supercars and vintage marvels. His business model challenges the traditional “luxury only” format of car shows, transforming them into accessible, family-friendly days that appeal to diverse audiences.

With no formal business background, Zander dove headfirst into the challenges of building a company, self-teaching everything from marketing strategies and web development to event management and community outreach. This journey has transformed his passion for cars into accessible, inclusive events where people from all backgrounds can share in the excitement. By continually adapting to meet new challenges, Zander embodies the mantra, “learning to become an entrepreneur has taught me how to be one.” His journey shows that a groundbreaking idea, coupled with genuine enthusiasm and determination, can build success from the ground up—no large initial investment required, just a willingness to learn and a passion to inspire.
