A thorough reworking of the Testarossa, keeping the flat-12 engine and the famous side strakes but lowering the nose, sharpening the steering and finally sorting the gearchange. Power rose towards 430bhp, and the engine was dropped lower over the gearbox to bring down the centre of gravity of a car often criticised for sitting too tall.
